That the election contest relating to the office of Representative from the at-large Congressional District of Alaska is dismissed on the grounds that, under section 2(1) of the Federal Contested Election Act ( 2 U.S.C. 381(1) ), the House of Representatives has jurisdiction over official general and special elections to choose a Representative in, or Delegate or Resident Commissioner to, the Congress, but does not have jurisdiction over a primary election, or a caucus or convention of a political party.
