Sec. 316. Post-enactment guidance from the Director

Not later than five years after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director shall— consider technological and other developments, current and future requirements, and options for artificial intelligence governance; and issue a directive to agencies— updating leadership roles, organizational structures, and other matters relating to artificial intelligence, as determined relevant by the Director; and that includes an action plan and timeline for implementation.
