In this Act: The term Administration means the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The term Administrator means the Administrator of the Administration. The term appropriate committees of Congress means— the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate; and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives. The term broker has the meaning given the term in section 13102 of title 49, United States Code. The term Department means the Department of Transportation.
The term freight forwarder has the meaning given the term in section 13102 of title 49, United States Code. The term MC number means a motor carrier docket number issued by the Administration. The term motor carrier has the meaning given the term in section 13102 of title 49, United States Code. The term Secretary means the Secretary of Transportation. The term USDOT number has the meaning given the term in section 31132 of title 49, United States Code.
