1887 Section 5 of the Hatch Act of 1887 ( 7 U.S.C. 361e ) is amended— in the second sentence— by striking known as a director and inserting known as an experiment station director ; and by striking or other officer appointed by the government board of the station ; in the third sentence, by striking or other officer ; and in the fourth sentence, by striking the authorized receiving officer and inserting the experiment station director .
