Section 10409A(b)(2) of the Animal Health Protection Act ( 7 U.S.C. 8308A(b)(2) ) is amended— in subparagraph (F)— by striking including training additional emergency response personnel. and inserting the following: including— training additional emergency response personnel; and ; and by adding at the end the following: improving animal disease traceability. ; and in subparagraph (I), by inserting before the period at the end the following: , including activities approved by the Secretary as of the date of the enactment of the .

Section 10409A(d)(2)(B) of the Animal Health Protection Act ( 7 U.S.C. 8308a(d)(2)(B) ) is amended by striking 2019 through 2023 and inserting 2027 through 2031 . Section 10409A(d)(3)(B) of the Animal Health Protection Act ( 7 U.S.C. 8308a(d)(3)(B) ) is amended— by striking carry out the National Animal Disease Preparedness and Response Program under subsection
(b)and inserting carry out the National Animal Health Laboratory Network under subsection
