Section 1419B of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 ( 7 U.S.C. 3156 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— in paragraph (1), by adding at the end the following: The term of such grants may be for a period of more than 1 year, but not more than 5 years. ; and in paragraph (3), by striking 2023 and inserting 2031 ; and in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1), by adding at the end the following: The term of such grants may be for a period of more than 1 year, but not more than 5 years. ; and in paragraph (3), by striking 2023 and inserting 2031 .
