Section 502 of the Agricultural Credit Act of 1987 ( 7 U.S.C. 5102 ) is amended— in subsection (b)(2), by striking $500,000 and inserting $700,000 ; and by adding at the end the following: The Secretary shall permit a State that receives financial assistance under subsection
(a)for a fiscal year to carry over not more than 25 percent of the financial assistance that is not expended by the end of the fiscal year, for use during the next fiscal year without deducting the amount from any assistance provided under this Act in subsequent fiscal years. . Section 506 of the Agricultural Credit Act of 1987 ( 7 U.S.C. 5106 ) is amended by striking 2023 and inserting 2031 .
