Section 4402 of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 ( 7 U.S.C. 3007 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking 2008 through 2023 and inserting 2027 through 2031 ; and in subsection (b)(1), by striking and herbs and inserting herbs, maple syrup, and tree nuts (including shelled tree nuts) . The 1st sentence of section 4(a) of the Agriculture and Consumer Protection Act of 1973 ( 7 U.S.C. 612c note) is amended by striking 2023 and inserting 2031 .
