Subtitle B of title VI of the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012 ( 47 U.S.C. 1421 et seq. ), as amended by the preceding provisions of this Act, is further amended by adding at the end the following: Not later than 7 days after receiving a request, in writing, from the Chair and Ranking Member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives, or from the Chair and Ranking Member of the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate, the Assistant Secretary shall submit to such Committee any contract between the First Responder Network Authority and the FirstNet contractor with respect to building, operating, or maintaining the nationwide public safety broadband network. .
