Title IX of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 ( 52 U.S.C. 21141 et seq. ) is amended by adding at the end the following new section: Each State and the Attorney General shall have in effect an agreement under which the Attorney General and the State shall share information regarding the evidence of potential fraud in the administration of elections for Federal office in the State, including evidence of voting or attempted voting in elections for Federal office by individuals who are not eligible to vote in such elections.
No Federal funds may be used to administer an election for Federal office in a State in a fiscal year unless the Attorney General certifies to the Commission that the State and the Attorney General have in effect an agreement under subsection
(a)with respect to the fiscal year. . The table of contents of such Act is amended by adding at the end of the items relating to title IX the following: Sec. 907. Information sharing agreements with Attorney General. . The amendment made by this section shall apply with respect to fiscal year 2026 and each succeeding fiscal year.
