Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, the Secretary of Agriculture, and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall establish a memorandum of understanding, or other appropriate interagency agreement, to share relevant housing-related research and market data that facilitates evidence-based policymaking. Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, the Secretary of Agriculture, and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall jointly submit to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, and the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs of the Senate and the Committee on Financial Services, the Committee on Agriculture, and the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs of the House of Representatives a report that describes opportunities for increased collaboration between the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, the Secretary of Agriculture, and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to improve efficiencies in housing programs.

(1)shall, prior to submission, be published in the Federal Register and open for comment for a period of 30 days.
