Section 1640 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 ( Public Law 115–232 ; 132 Stat. 2310; 10 U.S.C. 2200 note) is amended— in subsection (g), by inserting and not later than March 1, 2026, after September 30, 2021, by adding at the end the following: In addition to funds otherwise available to carry out this section, there are authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Defense such sums as may be necessary to prepare the reports under subsection
(g)and to expand the Cyber Institutes program under this section after September 30, 2025. .
