Section 208 of the Immigration and Nationality Act is amended by adding at the end the following: Any alien who fails to enter the United States at a designated port of entry shall be logged by an agent biometrically and informed by such agent that applications for asylum may only be made at a designated port of entry. Any alien who fails to enter the United States at a designated port of entry after being logged under paragraph
(1)shall be subject to the expedited removal process under section 235. . The amendments made by this section shall take effect 30 days after the date of enactment of this Act.
