The Secretary of Defense may use up to $650,000,000 of the amounts appropriated or otherwise made available by this Act to the Department of Defense for the rapid acquisition and deployment of supplies and associated support services pursuant to section 3601 of title 10, United States Code, but only for the purposes specified in clauses (i), (ii), (iii), and
(iv)of subsection (c)(3)(B) of such section and subject to the applicable limits specified in clauses (i), (ii), and
(iii)of such subsection and, in the case of clause
(iv)of such subsection, subject to a limit of $50,000,000, or for the purposes specified in section 229 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 ( Public Law 118–31 ) and subject to a limit of $100,000,000: That the Secretary of Defense shall notify the congressional defense committees promptly of all uses of this authority.
