Sec. 664. Report on military camping and recreational park program

Not later than March 1, 2027, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a report describing how each military department administers military camping and recreational parks to ensure such parks are equally accessible to all persons authorized to use such parks. The report required under subsection
(a)shall include the following: A list of military camping and recreational vehicle parks that includes the location of each park and an identification of the military department that administers such park. An estimate of the average number of members of the Armed Forces and veterans who use each facility in a year, disaggregated by members of an active component, members of a reserve component, and veterans. A list of such parks that allow users to stay more than 30 days during any 90-day period. A list of such parks that allow users to live at a park full-time. An explanation of the differences between the policies that apply to such parks and the policies that apply to other morale, welfare, and recreation facilities of the Department of Defense that do not allow persons to stay more than 30 days. A description of any additional authorities or resources the Secretary determines are necessary to increase capacity and to ensure such parks are equally accessible to all persons authorized to use such parks.
