Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this section, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report on the status of the implementation of the Interagency Regional Coordinator for Resilience pilot project established under section 2872 of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 ( 10 U.S.C. 2864 note). The report submitted under subsection
(a)shall include the following: For each established Interagency Regional Coordinator— which community that supports a military installation was selected for a Coordinator and the reasoning for selecting such community; and a description of the ongoing work of the Coordinator. For any Interagency Regional Coordinator position required under the pilot program but not yet established, a plan to establish such position.
