Sec. 1089. Prohibition on use of live animals in trauma training

Beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act, live animals, including dogs, cats, nonhuman primates, and marine mammals— may not used in live fire trauma training; and to the extent necessary, shall be replaced with advanced simulators, mannequins, cadavers, or actors.
