Chapter 15 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end a new section consisting of— a heading as follows: ; and a text consisting of the text of section 1022 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004 ( Public Law 108–136 ; 10 U.S.C. 271 note). Section 285 of title 10, United States Code, as added by subsection (a), is amended as follows: Subsection
(a)is amended by inserting or to another department or agency of the Federal Government after law enforcement agencies each place it appears. Subsection
(b)is amended by striking During fiscal years 2006 through 2024, funds and inserting Funds . Such section is further amended— in subsection (d)(2), by striking this subparagraph and inserting this paragraph ; and in subsection (e)(1), by striking title 10, United States Code and inserting this title . Section 1022 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004 ( Public Law 108–136 ; 10 U.S.C. 271 note) is repealed.
