In order to promote greater consistency in effective and consistent global regulation of digital assets, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission, as appropriate— shall consult and coordinate with foreign regulatory authorities on the application of consistent international standards with respect to the regulation of digital assets; and may enter into such information-sharing arrangements as may be deemed to be necessary or appropriate in the public interest or for the protection of investors, customers, and users of digital assets.
