Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State, and the Secretary of Defense, shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a determination of whether, for each covered person, that covered person meets the criteria for the imposition of the sanction described in section 3(c). In this section: The term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party of the House of Representatives; and the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate.
The term covered person means any of the following persons: China North Industries Group Corporation. Aviation Industry Corporation of China. China Electronics Technology Group Corporation. China South Industries Group Corporation. China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. China General Nuclear Power Group. China National Nuclear Corporation. China State Shipbuilding Corporation.
