Section 202 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 ( 43 U.S.C. 1712 ) is amended— in subsection (b), by inserting before the period at the end the following: “, in consultation with the governing body of any Indian tribe or Alaska Native Corporation that has— rights or interests on the National Forest System land that may be impacted; or access to participate in traditional or cultural practices, or in the protection of scared sites or resources, on the National Forest System land. ; and in subsection (c)(9)— in the second sentence, by inserting and consultation with the governing bodies of Indian tribes and Alaska Native Corporations, after appointed, ; and in the fourth sentence, by striking State and inserting State, tribal, .
