Section 11(t) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 2020(t) ) is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking $5,000,000 and inserting $25,000,000 ; in paragraph (4)— in subparagraph (D), by striking or at the end; in subparagraph (E), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, American Samoa, or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, including the governmental agency in each of those territories that administers a nutrition assistance program under section 19 or Public Law 96–597 (94 Stat. 3477), as applicable. ; and by adding at the end the following:
A grant may be awarded under this section for a project that spans up to 6 years. .
