Sec. 6. Sense of Congress on international cooperation

It is the sense of Congress that the Secretary of the Treasury and other relevant Federal officials, such as the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the Attorney General, should work jointly with financial intelligence units, trade transparency units, and appropriate law enforcement authorities of Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other countries in Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, to identify and present, in the report required by section 5 and in future analyses of suspicious transaction reports, cash transaction reports, currency and monetary instrument reports, and other relevant data to identify trends and assess risks in the movement of illicit funds from illicit fentanyl operations from Mexico, India, the People's Republic of China, or any country in the Western Hemisphere through the financial systems of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
