Section 9 of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1758 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: A school participating in the school lunch program under this Act with students in any of grades kindergarten through grade 5 shall ensure an opportunity during the school day for physical activity, in the form of physical education courses or recess periods, of not less than 150 minutes per week for students in those grades. .
