Section 10(a)(3) of the Military Selective Service Act of 1948 ( 50 U.S.C. 3809(a)(3) ) is amended by inserting with the advice and consent of the Senate after The Director shall be appointed by the President . The amendment made by subsection

(a)shall take effect sixty

(60)days after the date of enactment of this Act and apply to appointments made on and after such effective date.
