Sec. 2851. Briefing on projects under Defense Community Infrastructure Program that are still in progress

Section 2391(d) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025 , and annually thereafter until the date that is three years after such date of enactment, the Secretary of Defense shall brief the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives on projects for which a grant was awarded under this subsection that are still in progress as of the date of the briefing, and the status of completion of such projects. Each briefing required under subparagraph
(A)shall include the following: A list of projects described in such subparagraph. A brief update on the status of such projects. A list of such projects that are more than one year over the one-year timeline to begin construction. A list of any projects described in subparagraph
(A)to augment existing or build new educational facilities. Any other update regarding projects described in subparagraph
(A)as the Secretary determines necessary. .
