Section 1645 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 ( Public Law 118–31 ; 137 Stat. 598) is amended by— redesignating subsection
(d)as subsection (e); and inserting after subsection
(c)the following new subsection (d): Not later than March 1 of any year in which the Secretary commences carrying out a pilot program under this section, and not later than each of March 1 and September 1 of each year of the pilot program thereafter, the Secretary shall provide to the congressional defense committees a briefing on the activities of the pilot program described in subsection (a). .
