Sec. 125. Annual report on surface ship suppliers

Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, and once every fiscal year thereafter through September 30, 2029, the Secretary of the Navy shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report analyzing suppliers of surface ship components. Each report required by subsection
(a)shall include the following: An assessment of the status of each supplier of surface ship components according to the evaluation tool used for Columbia-class submarine suppliers. If the assessment described in paragraph
(1)indicates that the supply base of any surface ship component is in an at-risk status, a plan for actions to stabilize that base.
