Section 1245(b)(3) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 ( 10 U.S.C. 113 note) is amended— in subparagraph (I), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; in subparagraph (J), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: an assessment of the material, financial, and logistical support provided by Iran and proxy groups affiliated with Iran to nonstate actors in the Maghreb region and an analysis of threats posed by such support to the security and interests of the United States and its allies in the region. .
