Section 15301(a) of title 40, United States Code (as amended by section 2249(a)), is amended by adding at the end the following: The Southern New England Regional Commission. . Subchapter II of chapter 157 of title 40, United States Code (as amended by section 2249(b)(1)), is amended by adding at the end the following: The region of the Southern New England Regional Commission shall include the following counties: Each county in the State of Rhode Island. The counties of Hartford, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, Tolland, and Windham in the State of Connecticut.
Each county in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. . The analysis for subchapter II of chapter 157 of title 40, United States Code (as amended by section 2249(b)(2)), is amended by adding at the end the following: 15736. Southern New England Regional Commission. . Section 15702(c)(3) of title 40, United States Code (as amended by section 2249(c)), is amended— by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; by striking to a county and inserting the following: “to— a county ; and by adding at the end the following: the Southern New England Regional Commission. .
