It is the sense of Congress that the Economic Development Administration should continue to promote access to economic development assistance programs of that agency through the use of Economic Development Representatives in underresourced communities, particularly coal communities. In assigning Economic Development Representatives, the Secretary of Commerce may take into account the needs of coal communities.
