Section 8101 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2022 ( 33 U.S.C. 2351b ) is amended— by inserting , pile dike, after jetty each place it appears; and in subsection (b)(2)— by striking if and all that follows through the Secretary and inserting if the Secretary ; by striking breakwater; and and inserting breakwater and— by redesignating subparagraph
(B)as subparagraph (A); in subparagraph
(A)(as so redesignated), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: the pile dike has disconnected from an authorized navigation project as a result of a lack of such regular and routine Federal maintenance activity. .
