2025 There is authorized to be appropriated for fiscal year 2025— $535,000,000 for the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice; and $725,000,000 for the Federal Trade Commission. Beginning in fiscal year 2026, and each fiscal year thereafter, all premerger notification filing fees collected pursuant to section 7A of the Clayton Act ( 15 U.S.C. 18a ) shall— be retained and used for expenses necessary for the enforcement of antitrust and kindred laws by the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, to remain available until expended; and shall be treated as direct spending described in section 250(c)(8)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 ( 2 U.S.C. 900(c)(8)(A) ).
