Notwithstanding section 18 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 ( 29 U.S.C. 667 )— nothing in this subtitle shall be construed to curtail or limit authority of the Secretary under any other provision of the law; the rights, privileges, or remedies of covered employees shall be in addition to the rights, privileges, or remedies provided under any Federal or State law, or any collective bargaining agreement; nothing in this subtitle shall be construed to limit or prevent health care workers, social service workers, and other personnel from reporting violent incidents to appropriate law enforcement; and nothing in this Act shall be construed to limit or diminish any protections in relevant Federal, State, or local law related to— domestic violence; stalking; dating violence; or sexual assault.
