Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services shall— review the hospital quality star rating system under the Medicare program under title XVIII of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395 et seq. ); and identify such administrative and legislative changes as are needed to ensure that sufficient information is collected under such system regarding hospitals to effectively measure hospital quality.
