There are authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Homeland Security, for fiscal year 2025 and for each subsequent fiscal year, such sums as may be necessary to carry out this Act. Section 241(i)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1231(i)(5) ) is amended to read as follows: There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subsection such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 2025 and for each subsequent fiscal year. .
