Section 2501(k) of the Food, Agriculture, Conservation, and Trade Act of 1990 ( 7 U.S.C. 2279(k) ) is amended— in the subsection heading, by striking and inserting Report ; and Reports by adding at the end the following: Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of the Growing Opportunities for Innovative Farming Act of 2023 , and each year thereafter, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Agriculture of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry of the Senate a report describing— targeted farming opportunities, training, and outreach practices being carried out by the Secretary under this section; a list of census tracts that the Secretary has provided technical assistance to under this section; recommendations to Congress on how to enhance equity for socially disadvantaged, small farmers and ranchers; and any other data the Secretary determines to be necessary to evaluate the benefits of the technical assistance provided, outreach efforts undertaken, and grants awarded under this section. .
