The National Museum of the American Indian Act ( 20 U.S.C. 80q et seq. ) is amended— in section 3(b)— in paragraph (3), by striking and after the semicolon; in paragraph (4), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: advance the study and awareness of Native American histories and cultures by providing educational resources to educators and schools. ; and in section 6, by striking subsection (a)(1) and inserting the following: a Director who, subject to the policies of the Board of Trustees, shall— manage the National Museum; and enter into grants with Indian Tribes, Tribal organizations, Native Hawaiian educational organizations, State educational agencies, and local educational agencies to further the purposes described in section 4 of the Native Histories and Cultures Education Act of 2023 and carry out the responsibilities described under such Act. .
