Section 1419B of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 ( 7 U.S.C. 3156 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— by redesignating paragraph
(3)as paragraph (4); by inserting after paragraph
(2)the following: A grant made under this subsection shall be for a period of not more than 3 years. ; and in paragraph
(4)(as so redesignated), by striking $10,000,000 in fiscal years 2001 through 2023 and inserting $10,000,000 for fiscal year 2023 and $15,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2028 ; and in subsection (b)— by redesignating paragraph
(3)as paragraph (4); by inserting after paragraph
(2)the following: A grant made under this subsection shall be for a period of not more than 3 years. ; and in paragraph
(4)(as so redesignated), by striking $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2001 through 2023 and inserting $10,000,000 for fiscal year 2023 and $15,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2028 .
