Subtitle B of title VI of the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998 ( 7 U.S.C. 7651 et seq. ) is amended by adding at the end the following: There is authorized to be appropriated $5,000,000 for fiscal year 2024 and each fiscal year thereafter, to remain available until expended, for agricultural research at 1862 Institutions and State agriculture agencies in States that do not have an Agricultural Research Service facility, to address the research priorities of those States. .
