Sec. 208. Public Health Emergency Medical Countermeasures Enterprise

Section 2811–1(c) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 300hh–10a(c)) is amended— in paragraph (1)— by redesignating subparagraph
(D)as subparagraph (E); and by inserting after subparagraph
(C)the following: Assist the Secretary in developing strategies for appropriate and evidence-based allocation and distribution of countermeasures to jurisdictions, in a manner that supports the availability and use of such countermeasures, for public health and medical preparedness and response needs. ; in paragraph (2), by striking , as appropriate ; and by adding at the end the following: The Secretary shall, as appropriate and in a manner that does not compromise national security, share information related to recommendations made and strategies developed under subparagraphs

(C)of paragraph
(1)with relevant stakeholders, including industry and State, local, and Tribal public health departments. .
