Section 1674 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 ( Public Law 117–263 ) is amended— in subsection (e)— in the heading, by striking ; and on Use of Funds by striking none of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise made available for fiscal year 2023 for the Department of Defense or the Department of Energy for the deactivation, dismantlement, or retirement of the B83–1 nuclear gravity bomb may be obligated or expended and inserting neither the Secretary of Defense nor the Secretary of Energy may take any action ; and in subsection (f), by striking on the use of funds under and inserting in .
