Subsection
(a)of section 1256 of the William M.
(Mac)Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 ( Public Law 116–283 ; 134 Stat. 3956; 10 U.S.C. 333 note) is amended— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking in Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia and inserting with covered foreign military partners ; in paragraph (1), by striking Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia and inserting covered foreign military partners ; and in paragraph (2), by striking Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia on and inserting covered foreign military partners on defensive . Subsection
(b)of such section is amended— in paragraph (1), by striking Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia and inserting covered foreign military partners ; and in paragraph (2), by striking Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia and inserting covered foreign military partners .
