The Secretary of the Army shall update the assessment of the Secretary on the sufficiency of the development, production, procurement, and modernization of the defense industrial base for cannon and large caliber weapons tubes. Not later than February 29, 2024, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Armed Services of the Senate and the Committee on Armed Services of the House of Representatives an update to the report submitted to Congress in March 2022 entitled Army Plan for Ensuring Sources of Cannon Tubes .
