Sec. 1365. Assessment relating to contingency operational plan of United States Indo-Pacific Command

The Secretary of Defense shall conduct an assessment, based on the contingency operational plan for a major conflict in the area of operations of the United States Indo-Pacific Command, to identify and characterize the dependencies of such plan on specific critical infrastructure facilities, capabilities, and services for the successful mobilization, deployment, and sustainment of forces. The Secretary shall provide to the congressional defense committees— before the date on which the Secretary commences the assessment required by subsection (a), a briefing that sets forth the terms of reference and a plan for such assessment; and a briefing on the results of such assessment, not later than the earlier of— the date on which Secretary completes such assessment; or the date that is 180 days after the enactment of this Act.
