Section 4405 of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 7517 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— in the subsection heading, by striking and inserting In general ; and Definitions by redesignating paragraphs (3), (4), and
(5)as paragraphs (5), (3), and (4), respectively, and reordering accordingly; in subsection (b)(1)(C), by striking 50 and inserting 100 ; and in subsection (f)— in paragraph (1), by inserting and $100,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2028 after 2023 ; and in paragraph (2)— by redesignating the second subparagraph
(C)(relating to fiscal year 2019) through subparagraph
(G)as subparagraphs
(D)through (H), respectively; in subparagraph
(G)(as so redesignated), by striking and at the end; in subparagraph
(H)(as so redesignated), by striking 2023 and each fiscal year thereafter. and inserting 2023; ; and by adding at the end the following: $500,000,000 for fiscal year 2024; $500,000,000 for fiscal year 2025; $750,000,000 for fiscal year 2026; $750,000,000 for fiscal year 2027; and $1,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2028 and each fiscal year thereafter. .
