Of the unobligated balances made available under the heading Community Development Fund in title II of division F of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 ( Public Law 118–42 ) for grants for the Economic Development Initiative
(EDI)specified in paragraph
(4)of such heading, $1,000,000 is hereby permanently rescinded: That no amounts may be rescinded from amounts specified for Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending in the table entitled Provided, Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending included in the explanatory statement described in section 4 in the matter preceding division A of such consolidated Act. The matter under the heading Transit Infrastructure Grants in title I of division F of Public Law 118–42 is amended— in the matter preceding the first proviso, by striking $252,386,844 and inserting $253,386,844 ; and in paragraph (1), by striking $20,000,000 and inserting $21,000,000 .
