Section 1834(m)(4)(C) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395m(m)(4)(C) ) is amended— in clause (i), in the matter preceding subclause (I), by striking clause
(iii)and inserting clauses
(iii)and
(iv); and by adding at the end the following new clause: The geographic requirements described in clause
(i)shall not apply with respect to telehealth services furnished on or after the first day after the end of the period for which clause
(iii)applies. .
