None of the funds appropriated by this Act may be used to place an unaccompanied alien child with a sponsor in any case where such unaccompanied alien child has been convicted of a crime, or has a pending criminal charge relating to gang affiliation or activity, in the United States or in such unaccompanied alien child’s country of origin or country of last habitual residence.
