Any criminal charge or civil enforcement action alleging that an individual engaged in fraud with respect to compensation (as defined in section 3306 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986) for purposes of determining benefits under the following statutes shall be filed not later than 10 years after the offense was committed: Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, P.L. 116-136; Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, P.L. 116-260; American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, P.L. 117-2; and Lost Wages Assistance Program under the Stafford Act, (42 U.S.C. § 5121–5207).
